The Kuleshov Effect and Wikipedia

In this meta-montage video, I explore the Kuleshov Effect, demonstrating how viewers derive meaning from sequential shots through the art of montage—the film editing technique that creates this effect.

 

To put together this video, I used the text from the Kuleshov Effect's Wikipedia article and combined it with clips from different movies, TV shows, and music videos that featured matching words."

Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of reality, collections of atoms, our imagination, or bits used in a fictitious manner.

 

Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is either authentic and/or purely coincidental: a sequence of events that although accidental seems to have been planned or arranged—  "as are we all."
